Ride

Shannon, Emily & Zoe (& Poppa Bailey) went for a quick ride in the Saunders *new* car.
Items they noted:

(1) They didn't have to wear seatbelts
(2) There was no air conditioning
(3) There was no radio or DvD player

Corn on the Cob

Nate had his 1st corn on the cob at dinner tonight. He was a big fan...

Night-Night

Nate just put this baby to bed, gave her kisses and turned out the lights. Too precious...especially since the baby is about 10 times too big for the bed - the bed is the orange and yellow part that her head doesn't even fit on. (Of course, I had to get the camera, turn on the lights & have him kiss the baby again to get a photo...and he did...many times...the baby's face is now a slobbery mess.)

Daddy's Birthday Lunch at Mexican Fiesta

Dear Nathan...

Dear Nathan,

Thank you being such a cute, loving little boy and for recently teaching me these things:

3:00am is the perfect time to strip off your PJ's & diaper & pee all over yourself and crib.
4:30am is the perfect time finally fall back asleep.
10:00am nap time is the perfect time to take off your pants & diaper and poop in your crib.
Crayons fit perfectly in between the plexi-glass & screen door.
If you look closely, you will see that there really is a ball almost everywhere.
While taking our morning walk, avoid walking by the playground otherwise things will not go well.

That's a marshmallow, not milk mustache that Nate has...

Front Tooth

This morning, Zoe lost one of her top front teeth - it's been wiggly for a quite a while. Daddy still hasn't looked at it despite Zoe's many attempts...

Cousins

Monday, Zoe & Nate had lots of fun with all of their cousins...

Happy Easter!

Eggs

This evening, Zoe & I colored just a few eggs...

Dragon Cookie

Zoe got this cute dragon cookie at a friend's birthday party where they saw the movie "How to Train Your Dragon". I see cute cookie creations in my future....

Happy Birthday, Uncle Ben!

Birthday Day #3

Zoe and 26 of her friends celebrated her birthday at gymnastics today. They played on some of the equipment & had a 3-legged race, also an obstacle course relay & a messy bedroom game were part of the fun.

Birthday Day #2

Today, Zoe had her family party with a Princess Tiana theme.

Daisy Tea Party

Tonight, we hosted Zoe's Daisy meeting and they had a tea party.

Birthday Day #1

Grandma & Poppa Dave surprised Zoe on her birthday meeting her at the bus. We then all went out to lunch for Zoe's choice, Red Robin, of course!

Hand Me Downs...

Nate may be getting a little tired of the pretty pink hand me downs...

Our Little Leprechauns...

Outside

It was beautiful out today, so we went to the park after lunch. Nate had a good time riding in the pink plastic car & Zoe enjoyed riding her bike for the first time this year. They played together rather nicely at the park...

Haircut

Today, Nate got another haircut from Mommy. He did pretty good until Zoe started going down the slide & then he was done with the haircut.

Taking Candy From a Baby...

Tony left a box of milk duds on the counter (I thought it was empty). Nate got a hold of it & ate one - sort of - he chewed it forever & let it run out of his mouth, making a big mess. I was finally able to get it out of his mouth once he got tired of chewing it. Yuck! It is not so easing taking candy from a baby.

Hugs...

Right before this photo, Nate was giving Zoe lots of sweet little hugs. Of course, once the camera came out, he was done with that...

Warmer Days...

I ran across this photo while working on some scrapbooking from last year & just look how pretty my flowers were & how warm it must have been...I am ready for winter to be over!
