Although the game wasn't the prettiest, our seats were pretty good.

Flat Bottom Girls

Conversation with Zoe while changing Nate's diaper.

Zoe: "He has a cute little bottom."

Me: "Yes, he does."

Zoe: "It is a strange little bottom. Our bottoms are not like that. They're flat."

Me: "Well, that's what makes him a boy."

Zoe: "Is Daddy's like that?"

Me: "Yes."

Zoe: "Does it hurt him when you put the diaper on?"

Me: "No."

Zoe then lost interest and left the bathroom. This is first time she's questioned the fact that Nate looks a little different than her...

At the Splash Park

This afternoon, we took a quick trip to the splash park. Zoe & Daddy had fun playing in the water while Nate & I observed.

Toledo Zoo

After graciously hosting Zoe for the weekend, Kim & Andy went to the Toledo Zoo.

Tony met them there while I stayed home with Nate.

As much as Nate hates having his diaper changed, he suprisingly enjoyed getting his first bath.

"Don't forget to take care of the baby."

These were Zoe's parting words to me as she left with Grandma Bailey to spend some time at Jungle Java. Apparently, she doesn't think I am a very reliable mother & needed reminding to take care of Nathan...

Nate's 1st trip to the park

Once again, Nate slept through this outing, but Zoe had a good time...

Nate's 1st meal out

Nate's first meal out was at Panera with Grandma & Poppa Bailey, Zoe & Mommy. Mommy really, really enjoyed her ham & cheese sandwich which she had been denied for the past 9 months. Nate seems to have enjoyed himself also (well, okay, he slept through the whole experience, but it was a happy-to-be-here sleep; mommies can tell this things).
